The SPI Enable bit is used to enable SPI as a whole. Note that global interrupts must be enabled to use the interrupt functions.В Set this bit to вЂ1вЂ™ to enable interrupts. The SPI typically uses 4 pins for communication, wiz. As mentioned earlier, this is a full-duplex connection, which means that MasterВ can send data to Slave(s)В and the Slave(s)В can also send the data to the MasterВ at the same time.ДЄs I said earlier, SPI uses 4 pins for data communication. Once the connection is initiated, then the MasterВ and one or more Slave(s)В can transmit and/or receive data. The MasterВ device is the one which initiates the connection and controls it. In SPI, every device connected is either a Master or a Slave. Less power consumption as compared to I2CД«ut there are some disadvantages as well, like higher number of wires in the bus, needs more pins on the microcontroller, etc.Extremely easy to interface!
